BOB SWEENEY
President & CEO
Bob was born and raised in Long Island, NY. He played basketball at Roanoke College, where he studied Marketing and worked at the New York City commodities exchange during the summers. In 1981, he began his career for Wall Street firms Oppenheimer and Shearson Lehman Hutton.
In 1991, he founded Innovative Travel Acquisitions, and with over 32 years experience in the travel industry he is now a sought-after keynote speaker and presenter.
He has a wonderful son, Sean, and the family Portuguese Water Dog, Boaz. He is an avid leisure traveler, and also enjoys hiking.

DOUG HAUGEN
Senior Consultant
Doug has been working for Innovative Travel Acquisitions since 1998. He grew up in Grand Forks, North Dakota, playing ice hockey in the winter and fishing the Minnesota Lakes in the summer.
After that, life took him to Atlanta, where he has been working for Innovative Travel Acquisitions since 1998. “Helping people has always been my core focus and passion in whatever I’ve done.”
Doug and his wife are Western art collectors, love Colorado and the west.

SEAN SWEENEY
Database Manager & Social Media Guru
Sean has spent his entire life around ITA. He has been absorbing all aspects of the business, literally from the crib to the present day, now full time. He is helping to develop the next generation of cutting-edge database management and is constantly improving the social media reach of ITA.
He is a real asset to the ITA team and is now poised to grow the company in new ways, well into the future. Outside the office, Sean is an avid weightlifting trainer.

As the newest member of the ITA team, Shannon brings a strong background in customer service and marketing. With a warm smile and excellent communication skills, she is dedicated to setting a welcoming atmosphere for positive interactions. A lifelong learner, Shannon is committed to meeting the evolving needs of our clients and team members.
Shannon traded the Chicago winters for warmer weather and lives in Roswell, GA where she is close to her parents and sister. She enjoys sand volleyball, snowboarding and fly-fishing.

Lindy has been a Market Research Associate with ITA since the start of 2022. Always keeping a pulse on trends in the industry and up and coming players in the field.
Lindy is the newest resident of the #1 city in the country (Charleston South Carolina) where she also teaches Pilates and loves to explore the beautiful Holy City.

Boaz has been with the ITA team his entire life. An integral part of the Human/Canine Resources team, Boaz is constantly working on new ways to keep the ITA team happy and helps to reinforce the work/life balance.
